Poovar has an estuary, which connects to the Arabian Sea and it’s the most beautiful sight to watch. Unspoiled and amazingly unexplored, Poovar is located in Southern Kerala by tranquil backwaters and opening out to the Arabian Sea and it also has a dream golden sand beach. The backwater cruise takes you through the Neyyar Lake, which is totally picturesque with the golden sand beach and beautiful backwater full of mangroves. You can also spot rare birds early in the morning. If you visit Kovalam or Trivandrum don’t miss the opportunity to visit Poovar."
