Malaysia Airlines cuts surcharges
From May 11 Malaysia Airlines reduced its fuel surcharge from India and Bangladesh to Kuala Lumpur by 53% and by 27% to Australia and New Zealand. Both Karachi and Sri Lanka will see a drop of 58% in its fuel surcharge to Kuala Lumpur.
Fuel surcharge on flights from India to Kuala Lumpur will be reduced by $53 resulting in a return airfare from India to Malaysia starting from as low as Rs 16,528 including taxes. Australia and New Zealand and North America sector saw a reduction of $106 in fuel surcharge for a round trip. The airfare for Australia will start from Rs 37,846.
