Lucknow's Hazratganj offers an urbane shopping experience

For a premium shopping experience in Lucknow, Hazratganj is the place to head to. This 100-year-old market, which was named after Nawab Amjad Ali, underwent a makeover in 2010-11.

Today, tony malls, showrooms, outlets, restaurants and multiplexes-cinemas have sprung up in its vicinity. It is an ideal place to buy jewellery items, all types of premium clothing; especially handmade embroidered kurtas-kurtis and sarees of chikan material.

Hazratganj is also the hub for various other handicrafts and handmade objects. While one can find daily lifestyle items of premium quality, Hazratganj is not for bargain shoppers.

The market comprises Janpath, Love Lane, Halwasiya and Lal Bagh.
