Gangtok is a beautiful hill station and the capital of north-eastern state of Sikkim. Gangtok spreads over a forested mountain that faces the Kanchenjunga snow peaks. There are many vantage points in and around Gangtok from where you get magnificent views of Kanchenjunga and other Himalayan snow peaks.

Volunteer: Ecotourism and Conservation Society of Sikkim, (ECOSS) is a non-governmental organisation working to accomplish a mission of sustainability and conservation in the state of Sikkim. ECOSS has been involved in establishing the Sikkim Himalayan Homestay with support from UNESCO. To develop it as a homestay destination.
