Global events to attend: From tourism event in Mumbai to wine festival in Spain

Corporation will host the 35th Know India Programme 2016-17 from 5th to 14th May 2016. The 35th Know India Programme of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India is scheduled from 5th May to 29th May 2016 for a duration of 25 days with 10 days in the partner state, Maharashtra for Diaspora youth of Indian Origin (excluding NRIs) conducted with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country. Participation from South Africa, Myanmar, Israel, Egypt, Mauritius, Malaysia, Netherlands, Sri Lanka and Trinidad & Tobago is expected.



Haro wine festival

If you like to know your wine and discover it in a beautiful destination then head to the Haro Wine Festival in Spainfs La Rioja region. It boasts of full-flavoured vino tinto. Some of the sights you can look forward to is a sea of white cotton meets tidal waves of red wine, leaving purple t-shirts and their wearers soaked head-to-toe in fermented grape juice. Every year during the fest, this small town hosts a grape bash and splash to celebrate its quaint wineries. It is attended by scores of tourists who love to party with wine-loving locals.
