Get smitten by the sea: Stroll by the Andaman & Nicobar islands to sense the romance & history this season

Look out for destinations that are uber chic (classy, elegant and yet touristy) this season. Think of beautiful destinations, heritage trails and interesting marine life, Here is a list of places you are visit now (as the weather will be just right):

Mandu in Madhya Pradesh takes on a rustic tint during the monsoons. The famous love story of Rajput Rani Roopmati and last Sultan of Malwa took place in this city, which is why the courtyard of Roopmatifs pavilion still reverberates with the romance.

Thenmala in Kerala is considered to be Indias first planned eco-tourism destination. The destination promises a little bit of nature, wildlife, leisure, entertainment and adventure.

Sandy beaches

These islands are blessed with lush greenery, white sand beaches, and diverse marine life. Take time off and head to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for a blissful vacation with family and friends.

Places of interest
Neil Island is located around 40 kms to the south of the Andaman Islands. Popular among tourists, this island is rich in biodiversity with tropical forests and unexplored coral reef. Known as one of the best trekking routes, head from Mount Harriet to Madhuban. Mount Harriet is home to some exotic flora and fauna. Tourists can take a short ferry ride from the Chatham Harbour in Port Blair to reach Mount Harriet.

Visit the Mahatma Gandhi National Marine Park, which is home to some gorgeous coral reefs and other marine life. The islands of Jolly Buoy and Red Skin are open to tourists. This is a great day trip from Port Blair.
