Dates: October 17 - 8 November, 2015

The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2015 will be the fourth FIFA tournament to take place in Chile, a football-mad country in which matches attract large crowds nationwide. A total of 52 games across 10 venues including Viña del Mar, Santiago, Talca, Chillán, Concepción and Puerto Montt amongst others.

- Atacama Desert: The Atacama Desert has unique rock formations. Tourist who wish to explore the desert stay in the town of San Pedro de Atacama. There is a specially commissioned ESO hotel, which is reserved for astronomers in the desert.

- Patagonia: This region comprises the southern section of the Andes mountains as well as the deserts, steppes and grasslands. The other popular tourist attractions include the Perito Moreno Glacier, the Valdés Peninsula, the Argentine Lake District and Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego.
