On December 31st, Lisbon shall dress up to welcome the New Year. Thousands of people fill the city’s main streets and public squares to celebrate with their friends. The Terreiro do Paço will be the giant party hall for the city’s New Year’s celebrations featuring lots of entertainment to mark the passage into the next year. Tourists can spot a fabulous fireworks display and musical entertainment at the stroke of midnight. And Terreiro do Paço is also known to have a spectacular view of the River Tagus and the best Portuguese music.
