Region: Rajaji National Park, Kaziranga and Bandhavgarh National Park

Situated near the foothills of the Himalayas, three wildlife sanctuaries in the area namely, Chilla, Motichur and Rajaji sanctuaries were merged into one. The Park has several gates, and is accessible from Dehradun, Kotdwar, Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Saharanpur.

Tourists can spot Asian Elephant, Bengal Tiger, Leopard, Jungle Cat, Goral, Sloth Bear and the Himalayan Black Bear. Remember to carry wollen clothes for the safari drive!

Kaziranga National Park is the dwelling for One Horned Indian Rhinoceros. The lower Himalayan peaks form different grasslands that are littered with ponds. These ponds attract a wide variety of flora and fauna. Tourists often spot varied species of animals including Swamp Deer, Tigers, Elephants and more. The best time to visit is from mid-November to early April.

Bandhavgarh National Park is located in Madhya Pradesh.Considered as the real home of white tigers, the park has also other wildlife species such as Bison, Cheetals and Sambars. The best time to visit is from January to March. Discover the mystery of monuments such as the Bandhavgarh Fort in the middle of the jungle.
