Take a dip in the icy cold water to experience river rafting, jump from the sky with just a rope tied to your ankle, yes, we mean bungee jump and dive in underground caves and caverns in Mexico.

In India too, adventure lovers can have a great time. Think about a road trip to the outskirts of Delhi (in NCR region), from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar, Lonavla and Pune and from Bangalore to Nandi Hills and Coorg. It’s time to start planning your summer holiday right away.

Try horse riding in Pyrenees near Spain. Set off from a horse base in the foothills of the Pyrenees the Herdsmanfs Trail follows centuries old herding trails to high summer pastures. Along the way the scenery changes from soft rolling hills, through beech forests, canyons and past extinct volcanoes to flat topped mountains.

Once you reach at the highest peak enjoy a gallop like no other over mountain meadows framed by a panorama of snow capped peaks. You could also visit Drakensberg in South Africa and Loire Valley in France.

Road trips with your family is a good idea. Most tourists try the Carretera Austral in Chile. The highway runs about 1,240 kms from Puerto Montt to Villa O'Higgins through rural Patagonia. You could also try driving through Masai Mara in Kenya.

The flat-out roads alongside zebras and wilde beests, past elephants, giraffes, lions, and dozens of other animals is a thrilling experience that one could never get from inside a car.
