Try horse riding in Pyrenees near Spain. Set off from a horse base in the foothills of the Pyrenees the Herdsmanfs Trail follows centuries old herding trails to high summer pastures. Road trips with your family is a good idea. Most tourists try the Carretera Austral in Chile. The highway runs about 1,240 kms from Puerto Montt to Villa O'Higgins through rural Patagonia. You could also try driving through Masai Mara in Kenya.

The flat-out roads alongside zebras and wilde beests, past elephants, giraffes, lions, and dozens of other animals is a thrilling experience that one could never get from inside a car.
