Zombie Angelina Jolie's shocking revelation! Iranian girl says she used make-up and editing to look like Hollywood actress

Iranian influencer Saha Tabar who is better known as ‘Zombie Angelina Jolie’ for posting spooky photos resembling the ‘Lara Croft’ star is now creating a buzz on the internet again after she revealed her real face. Tabar who was arrested In October 2019 for committing blasphemy was initially sentenced to 10 years in jail but was released after just 14 months due to the nationwide protests that took place after the death of Mahsa Amini last month.

Tabar who was widely believed to have undergone no less than 50 extensive cosmetic surgeries to resemble the Hollywood superstar proved everybody wrong when she did a face reveal. While the influencer admittedly did undergo some cosmetic procedures like a nose job, lip fillers, and liposuction, her ‘spooky Jolie’ face was a product of makeup and Photoshop. “What you saw on Instagram was the computer effects I used to create the image," revealed the influencer to a state-run media outlet, News.com.au.

Her real face looks fresh and dewy much like any woman in her 20s.


Tabar, whose real name is Fatemeh Khishvand, gained popularity when she began to make satirical posts on Instagram, poking fun at Iran's theocracy. Her posts were deemed offensive by the Iranian government. She was arrested for “insulting the sanctity of the hijab’’ in 2019.

Tabar confessed she was addicted to the fame her internet persona gave her and couldn’t bring herself to stop. She also added that since childhood, she had always dreamt of being famous. The internet provided an easy outlet for her desire for limelight. “It was much easier than becoming an actor,” she confessed to the local daily.

However, serving time in prison has taken its toll on Tabar, and today she is turned off from social media for good and wants to put that chapter behind her once and for all. “I am sure I will not even put Instagram on my phone anymore, let alone have a page,” she vowed.

The influencer also revealed that she feels “regretful’’ for posting creepy pictures of herself on the internet. “ My mother was telling me to stop, but I didn’t listen,” she admitted.

Numerous human rights activists campaigned for her release on social media. When she was jailed, activist Masih Alinejad tweeted, "Sahar Tabar is only 19. Her joke landed her in jail. Her mother cries every day to get her innocent daughter freed. Dear Angelina Jolie, we need your voice here. Help us."
