Zomato's dig at Pakistani app on India's loss to Pak is winning the Internet
The outcome of the match spiralled into a meme-war between fans of India and Pakistan.

Ever since the match, Twitter has been flooded with memes and commentary from both sides of the border. Zomato’s sarcasm made it seem like a verbal duel between food delivery apps from India and Pakistan.
Careem Pakistan, a prominent food delivery app, took to its official Twitter handle to share a popular meme from the hit Bollywood film ‘Hera Pheri’. The Pakistan branch of the Dubai-based super app also tagged Zomato in its tweet.
The meme is from a famous scene from the film where Paresh Rawal is seen saying, “Yeh toh kisike rone ki awaz hai. (This sounds like someone crying.)”. Careem Pakistan captioned the meme with ‘Humney tou order k lye phone kia tha. (we called to place an order)”. The tweet was a jibe at Zomato over India’s loss.
