Yuvraj Singh, Rohit Sharma wish Virendra Sehwag on his birthday, but Tendulkar's epic wish takes the cake

The Nawab of Najafgarh, Virendra Sehwag, turned 39 and received a slew of wishes from colleagues, fans and celebrities. The one birthday wish that garnered maximum attention though, was Sachin Tendulkar's tweet. After all, the wish was from his inspiration and master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

The God of cricket and Viru are known to share a great bond, on and off the field. There was a time, especially in the run-up and during the 2003 World Cup when Tendulkar and Sehwag used to make one of the most feared opening pairings in the world.



Tendulkar posted a photo with Sehwag on Twitter and wished his former opening partner on his birthday -- with an upside down message.

"Happy birthday, viru! have a great start to the new year. you've always done ulta of what i have told you on field. so here's one from me?" said Tendulkar in his tweet.



Sehwag didn't take much time to reply to Sachin, whom he calls 'God Ji'. "Thank you God ji. Uparwala sab dekh raha hai, yeh to suna tha, par aaj samajh aaya, woh neeche waalon ke liye likhta kaise hai !," Sehwag replied.
