When and where to watch Young Sherlock in India
For Indian audiences, Young Sherlock will premiere on March 4, 2026. The series will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. All eight episodes are scheduled to release together, making it a binge-ready launch. Viewers will need an active Prime Video subscription to watch the show online. The series is also part of Prime Video’s global rollout and will stream across more than 240 countries and territories.Set mainly in Victorian England, the story introduces Sherlock Holmes as a 19-year-old Oxford University student. At this point, he is far from the confident detective people know. He is impulsive, still learning, and often reckless. His life takes a sharp turn when he is framed for a murder at the university, putting his freedom at risk.
To clear his name, Sherlock is forced to investigate the crime himself. What begins as a fight to prove his innocence slowly opens into something much larger. The case leads him into a wider conspiracy that stretches beyond England and pulls him across international locations. Along the way, the show tracks how his instincts develop, how he learns to observe people, and how difficult choices start shaping his moral compass.
The series also explores Sherlock’s early years before Oxford, including his childhood and teenage experiences, which play a role in how he acquires skills that later define him as a detective.
