My style

For me, style is everything. It’s a man’s confidence and it also reflects status. It is about using your clothes to tell someone something about you. For me, it’s about expressing myself.

Must-haves for men

A white shirt. No matter what your hair colour or skin tone, body size or shape, you’ll look sharp in a white shirt. Go for a fitted shirt, always. A slim black suit with narrow pants is a good idea for a formal evening. Other than that, a man should always have a good pair of chinos. Jeans are a must — I don’t know any man who can live without a few pairs. And finally, brogues.

Weekend style

Since I work in hospitality, the idea of a weekend goes out the door. All days are equalfor us. I love my Tom Ford suit, but I prefer to break the monotony by sporting a semiformal look. My weekends are more hectic so I keep my dressing informal and sporty with Polo shirts.

Prized possession

That would have to be my Corneliani shoes and Canali jacket.

The little things

I think men should always wear a good watch, good shoes and carry a nice wallet. I own eight watches, but Tissot is my all-time favourite.

Style advice

One should shop with an open mind; be willing to try never-tried-before.

Trend talk

I love wearing a jacket, a nice cashmere sweater and chinos with a great pair of shoes. I never wear high-waisted pants and baggy clothes. I dislike leather trousers too. You will also never find me wearing the colour pink.

Add a pop

A vibrant pair of shoes gives my outfit a perfect pop of colour. Also, a patchwork shirt is a shortcut to the fabric blocking fashion trend for men.

Celebrity style

I think in Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan has a great sense of style. Internationally, Robert Downey Jr is a good dresser.
