‘You made me believe in love.’ A month on, Ankita Lokhande & Rhea Chakraborty share heartfelt Insta posts in Sushant S Rajput’s memory

Rhea Chakraborty breaks silence on Sushant Singh Rajput death, says his absence caused "irreparable numbness"
A month after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death by suicide, his family and friends are still trying to come to terms with his absence. .
The actor’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ co-actress and rumoured former girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande, took to Instagram for the first time since Rajput’s demise on June 14 and posted a picture along with a message.
The picture showed a diya (oil lamp) and white flowers against the backdrop of the small temple in the house. The caption of the post read, ‘CHILD Of GOD.’
While Lokhande did not take Rajput’s name in the caption, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the post was meant for the late actor. The TV star had attended the actor’s cremation held last month in Juhu, and had reportedly been ‘devastated’ with the news of his demise.. She had also met his father and sisters and expressed her condolences.
Comparing the 34-year-old late actor to a ‘shooting star’, Chakraborty wrote that the moon, the stars and the galaxies would have welcomed Rajput ‘with open arms’. ‘I will wait for you, my shooting star and make a wish to bring you back to me,’ wrote Chakraborty.
"You were everything a beautiful person could be, the greatest wonder that the world has seen. My words are incapable of expressing the love we have and I guess you truly meant it when you said it is beyond both of us. You loved everything with an open heart, and now you've shown me that our love is indeed exponential,” wrote the 28-year-old actress.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police is investigating the actor’s death and has questioned Sanjay Leela Bhansali and a bunch of Rajput's close friends.The police had also quizzed Chakraborty for almost nine hours at the Bandra station.
Known for films like 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' and 'Kedarnath', Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra home on June 14. Initial reports suggested that the actor had allegedly died of suicide. No suicide note was found in Rajput’s apartment. His post-mortem report said that he had died of asphyxiation.

Opening up about the bond that she shared with the ‘Kedarnath’ actor for the first time, the model-turned-actress wrote that she is still struggling to face her emotions and the ‘irreparable numbness’ in her heart.
