In a video shared on Instagram ealier on Thursday, Diljit spoke about how obstacles at work can sometimes point people towards something better. Rather than letting others' actions discourage them, he encouraged people to focus on what lies ahead.
“Sometimes it happens that work is not for you, you deserve better. You should focus on that,” he said.

In the video, Diljit explained that attempts to disrupt someone's work can have the opposite effect, giving them more energy and preparing them for new opportunities.“Whenever someone tries to pull you back, whenever someone tries to ruin your work, you actually end up with more energy,” the singer said.
He also stated that people facing difficulties should not automatically view them as failures. According to Diljit, a hurdle that seems discouraging in the present could eventually lead to personal growth or a better opportunity.
“If today you are suffering because of that thing, if today you are facing a hurdle because of it, it may be happening for your own good, and it may be happening for your betterment in the future,” he said.
The singer went on to say that people who believe they can ruin another person's work may not understand how those experiences can strengthen the other person. He described setbacks as a possible preparation for a bigger opportunity.
He ended the video by sending love and respect to everyone and saying, “See you soon, Delhi. Till then.”
Why has Diljit's Delhi concert permission become an issue?
Diljit's message comes as his planned performance at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30 faces uncertainty. According to a Press Trust of India (PTI) report, Delhi Police has denied permission for the concert, citing security concerns and the festive season. The event was expected to attract a large gathering of fans. The police had withheld clearance, although further details about the reasons behind the decision are not yet disclosed.
All this also led to political reaction. AAP's Delhi chief, Saurabh Bharadwaj, questioned why the government was denying permission for the concert. He described Diljit as another Punjab icon after Daler Mehndi and said, “Indian youth love Dosanjh and he is much loved in Punjab.”
The Delhi show was scheduled to kick off the India leg of Diljit's Aura World Tour. The tour was then expected to travel to six other cities including Indore, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow and Chandigarh.
