You can raise $500 million in a week in California: Angel investor Mohandas Pai
When it comes to funding, most Indian startups look towards the US, and Pai feels there is a good reason for it.

What sets the US apart, Pai feels is its sheer scale, its risk taking ability, deep understanding of technology and domain expertise in various fields. “It’s a huge system. If you’re a biotech company having a 10 year plan and you want to raise $50 million, the only place you can go to raise funds is in the US, because you need their risk-taking capacity. If you go to Sand Hill road, California, and meet investors, you can raise $500 million in a week,” he said.
Hope the startup guys are taking note.
