Yash Birla celebrates silver wedding anniversary by renewing wedding vows with wife

It was a personal moment that turned spiritual. Yash Birla responded to the query on his silver wedding anniversary, where he renewed vows with his wife Avanti, on the banks of the Ganges. "It was a very private, personal, spiritual marriage ceremony on the banks of the Ganga in Rishikesh. It’s to emphasise our connection at a higher more elevated level. After 25 years of marriage, there was no celebration, just prayers and a personal marriage ceremony for ourselves," Birla texted back, on Monday evening.

Yash and Avanti Birla got married on March 2, 1991, and the industrialist says that they wanted to keep this ceremony intimate. "We didn’t invite anyone," Birla says, while he celebrated Maha Shivratri, just days after their special event.
