Yami Gautam's 100-year-old Rs 8 crore Himachal home is pure rustic beauty. Made of wood, stone, it has greenhouse, kitchen garden. Will she and Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar live there now?

Mumbai is the dream city of many, especially for those who want to find their fortune in Bollywood. Having a luxury bungalow in the city is often considered the epitome of ‘having arrived’ or ‘making it’ in Mumbai. Yet, if a Free Press Journal report is to be believed, Mumbai may not be the permanent home of actress Yami Gautam and her husband, Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar. The property is reportedly in Gohar, Mandi.

The couple has been spending more and more time at the Himachal Pradesh property recently. Though her family is Punjabi, Yami has roots in Himachal. She was born in Bilaspur, Himachal. According to an NDTV report, she is a proud malkin of a 00-year-old heritage house, with a 25-acre plot in Gohar.

Built using natural materials such as wood and stone, the residence is bordered by organic kitchen gardens where Yami and Aditya are said to cultivate fruits and vegetables, including apples, potatoes, plums and ginger.

The Himachal Pradesh home holds more than just vacation memories for the couple. It was also the setting for their wedding in June 2021, giving the property a deeply personal significance in their lives.

Inside Yami’s 100-Year-Old Heritage Home

According to a Financial Express report, the home is built in the rustic Himachal style, with thick stone and wood, a gently sloping roof, and deep-set windows. The interior is minimalistic and does not have modern decor such as floor-to-ceiling glass windows or luxury furniture. However, the inside has old wooden beams that are showing, which makes it look like a palace. The walls have a warm, natural color and give off a cosy, homely atmosphere, similar to a regular home, not a shiny, fancy celebrity house.

The wooden parts are the main feature of the decorated house and act as a farmhouse for the family.

The home is reportedly worth Rs 8 crore.

A Green Area

As per a Times of India report, the home comes with a farm area where she has set up a greenhouse and an organic garden where she grows plums and lemons.
