Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 launched with 48-megapixel camera, priced under Rs 11K

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 7 is finally out with the Chinese smartphone-maker launching its new, 48-megapixel-rear-camera device globally on Thursday. While the tech geeks assumed that this one would go under the mid-range price segment, the phone was (surprisingly!) priced roughly under Rs 11,000.
The 3GB RAM, 32GB storage device costs Rs 10,500; and the one with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage costs Rs 12,400. A third variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 14,500.

In terms of design, the device resembles with Xiaomi's smaller, pocket-friendly device, Mi Play, which was launched a few weeks ago. It features a circular display notch, rear fingerprint scanner, dual cameras and back panel with colourful gradients. The rear-facing dual cameras include the 48-megapixel image sensor and f/1.8 lens and the other one is 5 megapixels and is used for depth information. At the front, it houses a 13-megapixel camera with autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
