Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G gets a price cut in India

NEW DELHI: Chinese device maker Xiaomi has announced a price cut Redmi Note 4G.

The Redmi Note 4G smartphone is now available at Rs 7,999. The phone was originally launched in November 2014 at Rs 9,999.

The phone is available at this price on the official website as well as major e-commerce partners Flipkart, Snapdeal and Amazon.



Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G looks exactly like its 3G counterpart and features a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, a 13MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera. The phablet runs 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad core processor, and has 2GB RAM.

It also offers its users 8GB of internal storage and can hold microSD cards of upto 32GB. Powered by Xiaomi's MIUI OS based on Android 4.4 KitKat, the Redmi Note has 3,100mAh battery. Unlike the Redmi Note 3G, the 4G version is a single-sim phone.
