Xiaomi Mi Max 2 India to launch today, price, specifications and more

Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi, is all set to launch its latest phablet, the Mi Max 2 in India today.

The Mi Max 2 is the successor to the Mi Max phablet that came to India in June last year. Earlier in May, the Mi Max 2 was unveiled in China in two variants - a 64GB version priced at CNY 1,699 (approx. Rs. 16,000) and a 128GB variant priced at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 19,000).

The Mi Max 2 that sports a 6.44-inch screen is powered by a massive 5,300mAh battery that features Quick Charge 3. It is said to charge 68 per cent in just one hour, and provide a two-day battery life.

It comes with a 12MP rear camera with dual-LED flash and a 5MP selfie-shooter.

The device is built in a metal unibody design and sports a fingerprint sensor on the back. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz blended with 4GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The device runs on Android Nougat 7.0 operating system.
