Xiaomi 13 to launch with 6.2-inch 2K display, 120W fast charging & more

Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi is currently working on its next flagship phone which is expected to launch in the market in the coming weeks.

Prior to its much-awaited release, the Internet has been buzzing with speculations and details surrounding the Xiaomi 13, which will reportedly come packed with some key features.

Earlier it was confirmed that the Xiaomi 13 will be powered with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship SoC from Qualcomm. Apart from this, the smartphone will feature a 6.2-inch display with 2K (or 1440p) screen resolution.


Fresh reports also suggest the upcoming smartphone will support the 120W fast charging. If this report is true, then the Xiaomi 13 will be getting an upgrade from the Xiaomi 12;s 67W charging.

Meanwhile, the smartphone may sport an advanced camera to give users an extraordinary photography experience. The Xiaomi 13 will reportedly flaunt a 50 MP primary camera at the back with optical image stabilisation. As per the report, the camera will be powered by a Sony IMX 8-series image sensor.

On the other hand, recent rumours also suggest that the Xiaomi 13 device may be introduced as Xiaomi 14. The development has been reported based on the images of retail box packaging that have been making the rounds on the Internet. Reportedly, the pictures were posted on the Chinese social media website, Weibo. The images also showed some crucial information related to the model.

The Chinese smartphone company has not commented on the name being circulated in the media. However, experts believe that the new devices will be called Xiaomi 13 in continuation with the existing Xiaomi 11 and Xiaomi 12.
