Xiaomi 12 Pro review: A good deal with great display, design and specifications

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is the successor to its high-end smartphone, Mi 11 Ultra, which was launched last year.

WHAT’S GOOD?
The Xiaomi 12 Pro performs smoothly thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, and its sleek and elegant design stand out. The smartphone is easy to use with one hand and has a finger-resistant back panel.

WHAT’S NOT-SO-GOOD?
Though it sports a triple rear camera setup with three 50MP lenses, its zooming capabilities are not as great as other smartphones. Its 2x optical zoom is just passable. The smartphone also lacks an IP rating which means it is not water-resistant.


The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset offers smooth and lagfree performance. Playing graphic-intensive games is a pleasure. It features an LTPO AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, which is crisp, bright and ideal for bingewatching sessions.

The display, design and specifications do make it stand out. It is a flagship phone that performs well in all respects.
