X lauds ‘Captain Miller’, calls Dhanush’s action drama ‘at par with Hollywood’

‘Captain Miller’, the Dhanush-starrer has opened to rave reviews online.

Several netizens have lauded the high-octane action sequences, the rugged look of leading man Dhanush, as well as the gripping plot.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), one user wrote, “Solid story and conflicts, characters are well established, good dialogues & great visuals. The interval chase sequence was too good on par with Hollywood standards, and ends with a little twist… so far so good!”


Another heaped praise on the director Arun Matheswaran. “#CaptainMilIer is a statement on how a director can prove his metal even if he has a star in the film. 100% conviction and pure cinematic experience. Helmed by Matheswaran, ‘Captain Miller’ is a fast-paced action thriller about a former British soldier Analeesan/Eesa, who comes to know about the atrocities faced by the people of India and goes on a mission to rescue them. Aside from Dhanush, the film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Sundeep Kishan, and Priyanka Arul Mohan.

According to a report by the Indian box-office tracking portal Sacnilk.com, the movie is expected to earn over Rs 8 crore on day one.
