'Wow incredible': Actor Madhavan gives a thumbs up to CM Chandrababu Naidu's announcement for Andhra Pradesh

Actor R Madhavan recently reacted to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s major announcements at the 30th CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam. The actor shared a clip of Naidu’s address on Instagram, where the Chief Minister outlined new investment-friendly measures, including an escrow system and a long-term goal for a $1 trillion economy. Madhavan described the announcement as impressive, signalling his approval of the state’s updated investment roadmap.

The video Madhavan posted featured the Chief Minister’s presentation at the summit. The text on the clip underlined the introduction of an escrow mechanism and the ambitious $1 trillion target for Andhra Pradesh. By writing "Wow incredible", Madhavan highlighted the scale of Naidu’s plans, which aim to make the state a more secure and transparent destination for investors.

Naidu Highlights Investment Growth and New Targets

Speaking at the summit, Chandrababu Naidu emphasised that Andhra Pradesh has steadily built an ecosystem where businesses can operate without concerns over land or procedural hurdles. He noted that the state has already secured $20 billion in investments over the past 18 months, resulting in nearly 20 lakh jobs.

The Chief Minister outlined a set of goals for the coming years, including attracting $500 billion in investments within three years and creating 50 lakh new jobs. His longer vision includes driving investments worth $1 trillion over the next decade. He urged global companies to consider Andhra Pradesh as a reliable destination, emphasising opportunities across agriculture, dairy, coffee, spices and several other sectors.

Naidu assured investors that Andhra Pradesh would extend strong financial safeguards such as escrow accounts and sovereign guarantees to enhance trust. He reiterated the state’s top ranking in ease of doing business and said that the administration is now focusing on speeding up processes for investors.

According to a PIB release, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal also participated virtually in the summit and laid the foundation stones for two large-scale projects: Drone City and Space City. He recognised the Chief Minister’s long-standing contributions to India’s technology growth and noted that Andhra Pradesh is now advancing that legacy by setting up India’s first Drone City at Orvakal.

Madhavan’s Upcoming Projects

On the professional front, the 55-year-old actor continues to stay active across films and streaming. Over the years, he has delivered notable performances in titles such as Vikram Vedha, 3 Idiots, Breathe and Shaitaan. Recently, he appeared in Aap Jaisa Koi and was part of De De Pyaar De 2 with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh.

Madhavan is currently preparing for Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, along with Netflix’s upcoming series Legacy. He also has additional releases in progress, marking a busy line-up across genres.
