World's top leaders on sand with message 'Let Peace Prevail'

BHUBANESWAR: Eminent sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik has created a sand sculpture of world's top five leaders with a message of "Let Peace Prevail" on the occasion of the X-Mas and New Year.

The five leaders are USA President Barack Obama, Russia President Vladimir Putin, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, British Prime minister David Cameron and Pakistan Prime minister Nawaz Sarif.

The sand art is part of a nine-day festival at the beach of Puri in Odisha on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.

Pattnaik said, "I have created these top leaders giving message about global peace. Terrorism has become the biggest challenge for the world abd we should work unitedly against terrorism."

He also created 20ft high sculptures of Santa clause and Lord Jesus yesterday.
