Twilight (2008)
Despite the jokes over the years, Twilight remains a classic in the supernatural genre of films. The 2008 film is the first part in the epic love story of Robert Pattinson's Edward Cullen, an immortal vampire, and Kristen Stewart's Bella Swan, a 17-year-old girl just trying to adapt to a new place. While Bella is drawn to the mysterious and dangerous Edward, things start to change once she learns that he is a vampire. Even 18 years later, Twilight is worth a watch! But, if you are willing to hit the theaters, two of Pattinson's films, Primetime and The Odyssey, are currently playing.
Hush (2016)
From the mind of the horror master Mike Flanagan, Hush is another hidden gem that can be explored over the weekend. It's one of the best projects from Flanagan, who is known for his work on Netflix shows such as The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass, and more. Hush sees a masked attacker stalk a deaf woman in her house. The movie returned to Netflix on October 1 after having left the streaming service years back. Hush holds an impressive critics' score of 92 percent on the Rotten Tomatoes website.
The Widower: ’Til Death Do Us Part (2026)
It's a newly-released true-crime documentary about Thomas Randolph, whose history of marriages and suspicious deaths earned him the nickname "The Black Widower." The movie follows the journalist and the detective who worked tirelessly to find the truth behind Randolph’s charming personality, tracing a story of lies, betrayal, and possible murder spanning decades. The 90-minute feature is topping Netflix's most-watched chart in the US.
