The Indian Merchant Chamber’s Ladies’ Wing will commemorate their golden jubilee in the form of a conference headlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis at a luxury hotel in Mumbai today.

Apart from the discussion, several notable women will also be felicitated for their work.

The ladies’ wing started out as a forum for implementing social change in 1966 and has since helped women in rural entrepreneurship, banking and other fields. The 50th year committee is helmed by Radhika Nath and supported by Kaushika Hemdev and Kalpana Shah.
