With 11 films on the floors, music and more, Bhushan Kumar sets new goals for T-Series

After a successful last year, working on diverse genres of films and entering the Rs 100-crore club, Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series has established itself as a production house that can captivate the country with a wide range of movies. The new year is also going to be action-packed, as the production house is geared up for its releases starting with 'Why Cheat India', which is based on malpractices in the education system.
T-Series will continue to support different genres of films with its 12 to 15 scheduled releases this year, including 'De De Pyaar De', 'Kabir Singh', 'Bharat', 'Batla House', 'Tanhaji', 'Netro', 'Marjaavaan', India’s biggest dance film and so on. Along with the new films, T-Series will also launch new talents under its banner.
This is possibly the first time that an Indian production house has as many as 10 films on the floors in a month. The films are a mixed-bag of medium and big budgets ones and have been in the planning stage for a year now.
Starting 2019, T-Series has 11 films on the floors just in India — a result of the rigorous planning by the entire team in the previous year.
While Kumar and his team were busy promoting the releases last year, he was also managing the pre-planning stage of all the films that will go on the floors this year. The hands-on producer credits his team and co-producers for efficiently supporting and helping him.
Presently, shooting of the films is underway in Delhi, Amritsar, Mumbai, Mussoorie, Nagpur and Kochi, with actors Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgn, Shahid Kapoor, Kiara Advani, John Abraham, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Amitabh Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Tara Sutaria, Riteish Deshmukh, Varun Dhawan and others.
2019 not only marks a strong year for Kumar production-wise, but also towards making music — his biggest passion, just like his father. The man has adapted to the new-age music scene and has been continuously delivering hits while exploring different genres of music. He kicked off the year by exploring a new concept like Electro Folk, followed by the second segment of Mixtape.
