Ratan Tata is a busy man, having just taken over the reigns of Tata Sons as interim chairman. And now, it appears Tata's longheld dream of building a veterinary hospital is finally coming together. Since his retirement in 2012, the hospital has been on Tata's agenda. The “intent“ for the project, as his office had described two years ago to ETPanache, will be seeing light of day. Interest in the project among animal lovers spiked when a team from College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University, USA, visited the city in 2010.Confirming the news on the sidelines of a recent event, R Venkatramanan, managing trustee of Tata Trust, said that the vet hospital was very much on the cards and will be announced soon.
