Are we witnessing the most epic collaboration of the century? Rumours of a possible musical collaboration between maestro AR Rahman and pop sensation Taylor Swift spread like wildfire on X, after Rahman wished the ‘Lover’ hitmaker good luck for her new album ‘The True Poets Department’

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday, Rahman shared a poster of the album and wrote, “All the best for your latest album!”

The post soon went viral on the microblogging site, gathering more than 850K views and 10K likes. Fans were utterly enthralled at the possibility of two icons coming together for a project.

According to a Spotify report, ‘Poets’ shattered the platform's record for the most-streamed album in a single day this year, accomplishing this milestone in under 12 hours. On its debut day, 'Poets' amassed over 313 million streams. To put it in perspective, the second-highest opener to date is Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter," with 59 million streams.
