Why Star Wars is making headlines
The eighth installment?

Not really.

Then?

Recently, Fox News contributor Katherine Timpf jokingly insulted the Star Wars fans who were excited for the newest trailer of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Insulted? Like how?

Timpf apparently said: “I have never had any interest in watching space nerds poke each other with their little space nerd sticks, and I’m not going to start now. You Star Wars people are crazy.”

She definitely rubbed the Star Wars fans the wrong way then.

Yes, and she went on to tweet that she never became interested in Star Wars because she was “too busy liking cool things and being attractive”.

That is bleak.

It is and now the journalist and comedian has been getting death threats over her comments.

Death threats? Isn’t that a little over the top?

Way over the top. While it wouldn't be hard to compare Fox News to an evil empire, they're the ones on the dark side this time.

Is she contemplating any apology?

Not at all. She said she has no intention to apologise. She actually defended herself by saying that her comments “were clearly jokes”.

One tough cookie!

Indeed. But Timpf will have to bear with Star Wars for perpetuity now.

What do you mean?

According to an in-depth behind-the-scenes look at Disney and Lucasfilm's plans for the future, the studio plans to make a Star Wars film every year until the world ends — or until people stop wanting to watch more Star Wars movies, whichever comes first.

Well, then i’m glad luke skywalker didn’t blow up the first death star.

True. If the prequels couldn't kill the franchise, what could, really?
