Initially, rumors circulated that Sonakshi might have bought another apartment in the same building where her wedding took place. However, the real reason behind the sale has now been revealed. ETimes has reported that according to a source close to the couple, Sonakshi has decided to move into a larger space in a building currently being developed by Zaheer, reflecting their plans for a new chapter in their life together. The luxurious property, listed for Rs. 25 crore, is being sold as Sonakshi prepares to shift to this new, more spacious home.

Sonakshi has always been vocal about how special her first home was to her. As per India Today, in a previous interview, she shared, "It was because of my dad (Shatrughan Sinha) that I wanted to buy my own house. He fondly talks about the first house that he bought after he came to Mumbai from Patna, which he still owns. For him, it’s like his palace."

Zaheer Iqbal’s Role In The New Home

Zaheer Iqbal, who belongs to a family involved in the construction business, has largely kept his real estate ventures under the radar. The couple's new home is not only a larger space but also a project that Zaheer is personally developing, symbolizing their shared vision for the future.

The Bandra West apartment, located in the prestigious 81 Aureate Building at Bandra Reclamation, was initially listed by a real-estate Instagram account, The Property Store. The fully furnished 4 BHK apartment had been converted into a large 2 BHK, complete with facilities like three car parks. The post was even liked by Sonakshi herself, adding to the buzz surrounding the sale.
