Why only 1 in 4 workers worldwide has a secure job

There is an increasing trend towards temporary contracts and insecure work across the world, according to the International Labour Organization.

In fact, only a little over a quarter of global workers are on permanent contracts while the rest are unpaid, self-employed, working informally or employed on a temporary contract.
