Apparently, Sesame Street’s Elmo could be affected by US President Donald Trump’s proposed budget cuts.

Elmo AND Trump?
Yeah! It’s a crushing commentary on the state of the US at the moment.

Please Explain.
This clip is a dig at Trump’s recent proposed budget cuts to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which helps fund PBS and NPR; PBS is the channel the classic kids favourite airs on.

That’s sneaky!
It’s a funny video and Elmo hasn’t really been fired (we think). But it wouldn’t come as a surprise to us as Trump might have a grump with the PBS staple show as they’ve parodied him for years in the form of a miserable puppet called Ronald Grump.
