Why Edelweiss MF CEO likes to spend her birthdays in office

Birthdays are always special, and even more so for Radhika Gupta because it is celebrated in the office.

For her 38th birthday on Tuesday, the staff of Edelweiss Mutual Fund planned a special celebration for the MD and CEO of the company.

In a special post on Twitter, Gupta revealed that the love and affection she receives is the reason why she loves to spend her birthdays in the office.


The AMC boss also rang in her birthday by making an investment in Edelweiss Balanced Advantage Fund (BAF).

"To this business and this team, thank you so much. And to all of you, thank you for the warmth and affection, today and everyday. I am blessed," she wrote.


Gupta shared four images from her office. While two images were of the decorated office with colourful birthday banners, ribbons, balloons and party popper, the other two showed a navy blue gift box which contained Ferrero Rocher chocolates, a gavel and a collage of various memories with her team and family.

Calling her an inspiration, the official Twitter account of Edelweiss MF also wished Gupta on her special day.


Earlier this month, Gupta had revealed that she and her husband are in the process of redecorating their new home in Mumbai.

She shared that she has been 'Googling ideas' and sharing them with the architect, who told her that those renovation plans only look good in someone else’s home and made no sense in hers.

"Good advisors tell you what Google can’t and prevent mistakes," she advised.
