Why does red work well in the bedroom

Some colours work better than the rest for your sex life. Red is one such colour which lightens up your sex life.

Why does red work well in the bedroom
The silk grey tie may have got an erotic connotation, thanks to Fifty Shades Of Grey, but it’s the colour red that you should be concentrating on for your bedroom action. A new study in Britain has shown that people with red, purple or black wallpaper get it on more than those in lightercoloured bedrooms.

In fact, people with red bedrooms have sex on an average of 10 times a month, while those with black make love nine times and other couples with purple walls have sex eight times.

Sexperts say that sexy surroundings make us feel like having sex more often — probably why most couples feel more uninhibited in a luxury hotel or when holidaying in idyllic surroundings.

It’s not just colour that puts you in the mood. Sex therapists recommend sleeping in the buff from time to time. That naked skin on skin friction increases chances of you getting aroused. But there is one colour you could avoid if you’re looking at a stimulating time in the boudoir.

Dark green turned up as the least popular bedroom colour, with just one per cent voting for it. It may be the colour of envy, but it isn’t the colour of seduction.
