Why did Sanjay Dutt's daughter meet his ex wife?

Rhea Pillai may no longer be Sanjay Dutt's wife, but she continues to enjoy a strong bond with his elder daughter Trishala, who lives with her aunt in New York. The pair were reportedly seen living it up , along with Rhea's daughter, Aiyana in NYC. Film industry insiders are however not surprised by this.

A source was quoted to have revealed, "This bonding between the two has been happening for some time now. Trishala has been wanting to visit India ever since Sanju came out of jail in February, but for some reason or the other it hasn't worked out. Recently, Sanju even holidayed in Spain with his wife Maanayata and their two children, but Trishala wasn't invited to join this family vacation. She is craving a connection with her dad so bad that Trishala is even bonding with his former wife."
