We didn’t have too much rain this year.

Nothing to do with the monsoons.

Then? El nino or whatever you guys talk about?

It’s about a baby girl.

Ah! La nina. Is that why we didn’t have rains?

Christina Aguilera has named her newborn Summer Rain.

You must be joking.

Cross my heart.

In 20 years hot summer would mean something totally different.

But celebrities are known to give crazy names to their kids.

Are they many?

It’s a long list.

Who’s there?

Uma Thurman for one. She named her daughter Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence. Add to that the doublebarrel surname Thurman-Busson.

That’s sheer cruelty. That girl will never learn to spell her name. and how about filling up forms?

Even shorter names are crazy.

Like?

North West, daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

Is this a fad or what?

Not really. Sixties rocker Frank Zappa named his daughters Moon Unit and Diva Thin Muffin Pigeen.

Is it something to do with the girl child?

Nope. Zappa’s sons were called Dweezil and Ahmet Emuukha Rodan.

Thankfully we don’t have these crazy names.

Well I’ve heard of Proton and Cessna.

Whew! But these are rare.

As rare as Bunty and Babli. Just ask around and you'll hear all the pet names tumbling out.
