Why a perfect burger is not an easy task to pull off for any society
A recent news story has underlined the fact that nothing stirs up society like a good, juicy burger, with all the delicious trimmings, oozing sinful excess. Everyone has an opinion on it and its prime elements, even though very few, if any, have actually ever ventured to try their hand at it. Making mincemeat of the protagonist is, of course, crucial to a good burger, as is presenting the result in a palatable form. While not everyone can stomach such an operation, those who dare to do so obviously undertake it thinking it's well worth the planning, preparation — and risk too, as so much can go wrong between thought and action. No wonder trusted collaborators are invariably roped in, too, as willing backups in order to ensure a glitch-free operation.

Once the main deed is done, care has to be taken to ensure that it — or its maker, for that matter — doesn't land from the frying pan into the fire in the effort to accomplish the task without slip-ups. Unfortunately, inexperienced perpetrators — let us call them burgerers — often cannot take the heat (just like their hastily-executed burger) and both break down under sustained grilling. That just goes to prove not everyone has what it takes to pull off a perfect burger, which is why the diabolically clever ones leave it to the professionals, and simply pay well for the service.
