Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had a fun moment with actor-politician Manoj Tiwari and his daughter Rhiti Tiwari during the Bigg Boss 20 premiere. Towards the end of the episode, Manoj walked onto the stage singing his popular song ‘Rinkiya Ke Papa’ as he welcomed daughter Rhiti Tiwari to the reality show as a contestant.

Who is Rhiti Tiwari?

Rhiti Tiwari is the daughter of Bhojpuri actor, singer and politician Manoj Tiwari and his first wife, Rani Tiwari. At 25, Rhiti has largely maintained a low-key public profile despite coming from a well-known family. She is also known as Riti and goes by the nickname Zooni.

Her entry into Bigg Boss 20 marks a major shift from her relatively private life to a show where contestants remain under constant cameras and public attention. During her introduction, Salman brought up Manoj’s own stint on Bigg Boss 4. The actor-politician was known for his outspoken personality and several heated moments during his time on the show.


Salman jokingly advised Rhiti not to follow her father’s approach to arguments. His comment, “Baap pe mat jaana,” was a playful reference to Manoj’s Bigg Boss history. The exchange also gave Rhiti a chance to step into the house with a connection viewers may already recognise, while making it clear that she has her own identity.

Rhiti Tiwari's education and music career

Rhiti reportedly completed her schooling at Jamnabai Narsee School in Mumbai, an institution run by the Narsee Monjee Educational Trust. Apart from her formal education, music has been an important part of her life. She is trained in Indian classical music and also plays the guitar.

Rhiti has worked across several areas of the music industry. She is a singer, songwriter, composer and producer, while also exploring entrepreneurship. Rather than relying only on her family name, she has been building a creative identity through her music and social media presence.

One of her early music projects was the romantic track Chale Aao, released in 2020 and associated with singer-composer Palaash Muchhal. The song featured actors Nandish Sandhu and Charlie Chauhan in its music video, while Rhiti was introduced to a wider audience through social media.

Her music journey continued with Jhoothi Baby, which was released in December 2025. The synth-pop song was written, sung and composed by Rhiti herself. The track was promoted through streaming platforms, YouTube and outdoor billboards, giving her music career another push.

From a famous surname to Bigg Boss 20

Being Manoj Tiwari’s daughter naturally means Rhiti has grown up around a familiar name in the entertainment and political space. However, she has largely stayed away from the constant spotlight and has focused on her own interests.

Accoording to India Today report, Rhiti is Manoj and Rani Tiwari’s daughter. After her parents separated, she largely lived with her mother in Mumbai while continuing to maintain a relationship with her father and his family. Manoj later remarried and has two younger daughters.

Her social media presence has mostly centred on music, lifestyle and glimpses of her creative work rather than family controversies. That could now change as she begins her Bigg Boss journey.
