Marathi actress Prajakta Mali has reportedly sold her apartment in Mumbai’s Goregaon East for Rs 1.12 crore. The reported transaction comes shortly after she purchased another property in the same locality for Rs 6.42 crore, putting the spotlight on the actress’ recent real estate dealings.

According to an agreement for sale document accessed by real estate analytics firm CRE Matrix cited by TOI, Prajakta Dnyaneshwar Mali sold a 473 sq ft flat in Goregaon East. The transaction was registered on September 10, 2026, and the actress reportedly paid Rs 6.73 lakh in stamp duty. Mali could not be reached for a comment on the reported sale.

Prajakta Mali sells Goregaon flat for Rs 1.12 crore

The property sold by Mali measures 473 sq ft and is located in Goregaon East. According to the agreement for sale document accessed by CRE Matrix, the transaction was completed for Rs 1.12 crore.


The sale is notable because it took place only a few weeks after Mali registered the purchase of another apartment in Goregaon. While the two transactions are separate, the timing has drawn attention to the actress’ property investments.



The latest sale was registered on September 10, 2026. As part of the transaction, Mali reportedly paid stamp duty of Rs 6.73 lakh.

There has been no public statement from the actress regarding the reason behind the sale. It is therefore not clear whether the transaction was linked to her purchase of the newer property or was part of a separate real estate decision.

She bought a Rs 6.42 crore home weeks earlier

On August 12, 2026, Mali reportedly purchased another apartment in Goregaon through a registered sale deed. The property is located at Oberoi Exquisite on Mohan Gokhale Road.

According to details from the sale deed, the apartment has approximately 996 sq ft of carpet area and comes with a parking space. The reported consideration for the property was around Rs 6.4 crore, while reports have put the purchase value at Rs 6.42 crore.

Based on the registered value and the carpet area, the property works out to approximately Rs 64,500 per sq ft.

The purchase was also reportedly financed partly through a housing loan. According to the available property transaction details, Mali took a loan of Rs 5.78 crore from Indian Bank.

Who is Prajakta Mali?

Prajakta Mali is one of the renowned faces of Marathi cinema and television. She has built a career across acting, television hosting and other creative ventures.

She became widely known through the Marathi television serial Julun Yeti Reshimgathi. Her work later expanded to films and digital projects, with Pawankhind and the political web series RaanBaazaar among her better-known projects. Mali is also associated with the popular Marathi comedy programme Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra, where she has been a host. Her television work has helped her become a recognised name among Marathi audiences.

Apart from acting and hosting, Prajakta Mali has a background in classical dance. She is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and has also explored writing, including poetry. She has ventured into entrepreneurship with her traditional Maharashtrian jewellery brand, PrajaktaRaj.

Her career has continued to expand beyond acting in Marathi projects. Mali has announced her Telugu film debut.

On the work front, she is set to appear in the upcoming Marathi films DINKS (Double Income, No Kids) and Shubh Mangalam Jodi Dangalam.
