Who is Khushboo Patani? From Engineering to the Armed Forces

Born in November 1991 in Bareilly, Khushboo Patani completed her early education at BBL Public School. She then pursued Electronics and Communication Engineering at DIT School of Engineering. Initially joining a multinational firm after graduation, her life took a significant turn following a traumatic college experience. Her encounter with an Indian Army captain during a college campus event changed everything. Khushboo cleared the SSB exam on her first attempt and began her journey in the Indian Army, eventually earning the rank of Major.

Rescue of a Baby Girl in Bareilly

On an ordinary Sunday morning, Khushboo was out on a walk when she heard a baby crying inside a rundown building. With no clear entry point, she climbed a wall to reach the source of the sound. Inside, she found a baby girl, around 9–10 months old, injured and left alone. She immediately picked her up, provided basic care, and brought her home before contacting the authorities.

The child, later identified as Inaayak, was reportedly kidnapped at a railway station and then abandoned. Khushboo shared updates in follow-up videos, stating that the girl was handed over to police, who eventually located and reunited her with her biological parents. However, Khushboo expressed concern for the girl's well-being, urging officials to ensure she receives proper care.

In one of her posts, Khushboo wrote, “Jako rakhe saiyan, maar sake na koi. I hope she will be taken care of by authorities and whatever is the chain of command ahead with proper rules and regulations.” She also called for stronger action to protect girl children in the country, tagging the Bareilly Police, UP Police, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
