When Zia Mody, Sunil Sood hobnobbed with Taj Hotels boss Puneet Chhatwal

Leading business names like Sunil Sood of Vodafone, DSP BlackRock’s Hemendra Kothari and top lawyers Nishith Desai and Zia Mody, were spotted attending an evening of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at a luxury hotel in South Mumbai last week.

The host was Puneet Chhatwal, MD of Indian Hotels Company Limited. As one knows, being in the hospitality sector requires one to play the role of a perfect host often. Chhatwal has ample practice in this regard, having been in the hospitality business for close to three decades. But this evening was special as it was his first since taking on the new role.

The soiree saw a delectable spread featuring a live charcuterie counter serving traditional cold-smoked ham legs with patés, smoked and cured balik salmon, live caviar and a tapas bar, to name a few.
