Mosalu/Mamer

The festivities kicked off on July 3rd with the traditional Mosalu ceremony. Members from Nita Ambani’s family, led by her mother Smt. Purnima Dalal and her sister Ms. Mamta Dalal, arrived to bless the couple with gifts and offerings. The groom's maternal uncle presented the couple with a "Mameru," a traditional set of gifts, reflecting the respect and involvement of the larger family in the wedding festivities.

Sangeet

The Sangeet ceremony on July 5th brought together family members for a night of music and dance. The Ambanis, known for their grand celebrations, had family members performing choreographed dances. The highlight of the evening was an electrifying performance by Nita and Mukesh Ambani, alongside their grandchildren.

Randal Maa Puja, Graha Shanti

The Randal Maa Puja, a ritual invoking Goddess Durga or Parvati, was performed to seek blessings for the couple. This was followed by the Graha Shanti Puja, which involved invoking Lord Ganesha and the Nava Graha (nine planetary gods) to remove obstacles and bring prosperity to the newlyweds.

Peethi/Haldi

Bhajans and Shiv Shakti Puja

The Wedding

The grand wedding day began on July 12th with a lively Baraat procession, where the groom and his entourage arrived at the bride’s house with much fanfare. The wedding rituals, held at the Jio World Convention Centre, included the Jaimaal (exchange of garlands) and other traditional customs, culminating in the couple taking vows around the sacred fire.

Wedding Receptions
