When the Birlas and Bajajs stepped out to watch a play in Mumbai
It was an intimate gathering of theatre elite for a play in Mumbai on Saturday. Among the many art and theatre faces, were also two business families — the Birlas and the Bajajs. While the guests seated themselves for the performance, Bajaj, on spotting Kumar Mangalam and Neerja Birla enter the auditorium, walked up to them and exchanged pleasantries. The two business bosses shared camaraderie and their wives shared wardrobe choices, with both wearing smart black tops. And while Bajaj enjoyed the play, he might have had some grouse with the seating. While he tried settling himself into a comfortable position, it led to some friendly banter with his wife.
