When the Ambanis hosted a private dinner for Ermenegildo Zegna CEO

When Gildo Zegna, the CEO of Italian luxury fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna (and the great grandson of the founder) was in India a few weeks ago, he packed so much into his two-day visit that those in the know told ETPanache that he barely had time to catch a breath.

While his first day in Mumbai ended with a private dinner hosted by Nita and Mukesh Ambani, he flew to Ahmedabad the next morning. There, he visited the IIM campus and interacted with students, sharing his experiences on family businesses and how to build a successful global luxury brand.

It was then time to fly back to Mumbai for yet another interaction, this time with young leaders of the Young Presidents' Organisation (YPO).
