When Shah Rukh Khan was bowled over

Although Shah Rukh Khan is the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, cricket is not the only sport the actor is interested in. During his growing up years, the actor spent a lot of time bowling and he has Ajay Bijli , chairman and managing director, PVR, to thank for it.

Having been family friends, Khan revealed that he was taught bowling by Bijli. "We were bowling partners in Delhi. I have to admit that bowling was taught to me by Ajay. He was a bowling champion and he had this amazing, cool glove. We all believed he could bowl well because of that," said Khan, who along with the cast of his upcoming movie Dilwale had come to inaugurate PVR Icon, the cinema exhibition chain's luxury offering for moviegoers.

With any games, bets are not far behind. And so was the case with bowling too where they placed several bets. However, summarising his bowling talent, Khan said, "If we had continued those bets maybe I would have won some of the PVRs but lost everything else that I had."
